Bio: Drustan is of primarily Oeridian descent, with brown hair, brown eyes, and fairly nondescript features. He was born into a mildly successful merchant family from Mithat. He was afforded an expensive education due to his family's success. Unfortunately, his parents view him as a terrible disappointment due to his gambling problems and his obsession with seeking out lost, ancient civilizations, seeing this as a waste of his talents. He hopes to one day pay them back for his education twice over...preferably via gambling.

Bio: Thareus is of Baklunish descent, having dusky skin and dark hair. While he is often unkempt he is not an unhandsome man beneath the beard and long hair. He is far less concerned with his physical appearance than with his interaction with others, as he is very talkative and friendly. He learned to speak early on in his life and never really stopped. He was adopted by a loving family at a young age and was raised by Alec and Edna Oleph in Mithat. As far as he has been told, he has a sister that he has never met and his parents were killed when trying to murder a good brass dragon who was forced to kill them. He identifies with dragons more than the evil parents that he never knew, and has always been fascinated by the creatures.

Bio: Semag is a tall, muscular man of primarily Flannish descent. His heritage is fairly apparent given his unkempt, wavy black hair, dark brown eyes and olive skin. Suffering from amnesia, he remembers nothing of his past. He has been wandering for the past year, until arriving in the small town of Borneven, where he met the other members of the group. Shortly after his arrival, he met another large man of Flannish descent claiming to be his cousin, called Epat. Epat informed him that his clan was defeated by a rival clan and driven from their lands.

Bio: Boudica is an Air Genasi, a woman with pleasant, exotic features. For the most part, she looks human enough and was born to human parents. However, somewhere in her bloodline there must have been traces of genie heritage, or some other creature associated closely with the element of air. She has pale white skin, light blue hair and bright blue eyes. At all times a light, cool breeze seems to surround her. She was born in the village of Imdar, near the Veng River, bordering the Empire of Iuz. When she was very young a band of orcs sacked the village, led by a priest of Iuz and all were slaughtered. Only Boudica's nanny escaped with her, seeking refuge in a monastery nearby. It is there that she was raised and trained. She has since traveled to other lands, embarking on something of a pilgrimage on her search for enlightenment and improving her mastery over mind and body.

Bio: Born into a noble family, Amavar is of pure Oeridian descent. He is slender, slight of frame, with blue eyes and black hair. High of class, it is apparent that he has known a life of relative ease. He is the second child, but first son, of one-time Baron Zebner and Baroness Tirisano. The Solvang family once held vassalage over the Barony of Rapuista, encompassing the lands between Mithat and Oldred, along the coast. During Prince Sewarndt's attempted coup of his father's throne, the Baron Zebner supported the prince. After Lynwerd took the throne and reorganized the provinces, the Solvang family fell from favor and were stripped of their holdings. By this time, Amavar had been sent to study magic under the mage Naranjo in Callistor and his sister was studying at the temple of Delleb in Rel Mord. Thus, their family's actions have affected them, but they took no direct part in the rebellion and were shown some measure of leniency.

Bio: Thrash is a violent and barbaric dwarf, relentlessly opposed to evil. He seeks vengeance against those who would dare defile dwarven strongholds or temples. Despite his viciousness, he directs his rage toward the wicked and enemies of his people. The party first met him in an old dwarven citadel that had been overtaken by worshippers of Nerull and duergar.
This inn lies near the eastern road just inside the town of Borneven. It offers humble, but clean and comfortable accomodations for fair prices. It is a family business, owned and operated by Urenth (NG human male Com2/Exp2/War1) who tends bar and manages, while his wife, son and two daughters handle the other chores. The inn offers meals three times daily as well as drink on demand. The main room is large enough for a bar that seats six and four small tables that seat four each. There is also a small hearth that is usually only lit during the autumn and winter months. The inn offers two single bedrooms, four double bedrooms and a common sleeping area. There is a single tub for bathing, hot water and soap provided.
This establishment is one of three bars in the small town of Borneven. It serves ale, mead and beer on tap, as well as a number of other liquors and wines, none of which are of especially good quality. It does however have one grizzled, grumpy bartender and four serving wenches, one of which is even attractive. It is often unruly and usually doesn't attract anyone with class. Coincidentally it attracts a number of gamblers and people looking to do shady, under-the-table dealing. Entertainers do perform on a semi-regular basis on the tiny stage in the back. Its primary attraction--that which makes it so popular with the locals--is the whorehouse next door.
One out of two major temples in the town of Borneven, the temple of Heironeous represents the local chapter of this deity's religion. Its priests, paladins and acolytes lead worship sessions, offer medical aid and help see to the protection of Borneven and its surrounding region when needed.
One of two major temples in the town of Borneven, the temple of the Oerth Goddess offers healing to the sick and wounded as well as support for the agricultural community. The local chapter of this religion, they do much to see to the welfare of the people of Borneven and its surrounding lands.
This is a small alchemy shop owned and operated by one Lleewyn Evendown (LG female half-elf Wiz7). She deals in potions, salves, oils and various alchemical concoctions and devices. What she can't create on her own she frequently buys wholesale from other distributors to offer to her customers. She is known for being friendly, personable, and fair in her dealings. The front room of the shop consists of glass display cases lining the walls on each side showing various vials, metals, stones, spell components and other knicknacks that she either sells or are involved in her alchemy. The cases are labeled "for display only". Goods are kept in the back room, behind the counter. She lives in an apartment above the shop.
Though there is no temple to the The Scholar, Delleb is represented in Borneven by a combination shrine and library. This establishment is maintained by Garbon Hayes (male LN human Div5/Clr6 of Delleb). It is not technically a public establishment, but Garbon's own home, in which he set up the shrine. It is his own semi-private sanctuary, place of research, and collection of knowledge. He does, however, open it to those seeking knowledge or a place of worship to Delleb. He is also glad to teach those seeking his own wisdom as time permits.
Located in the merchant's district near the northern gate of the bustling city of Womtham, this upscale inn caters to traveling nobles and wealthy adventurers. The large main room has eight tables, a long bar, a large hearth and a respectable stage for performers. It offers the best in food drink and entertainment for a price that commonfolk simply can't afford. The interior and furniture are crafted from dark cherry wood and of fine design, much like the sign that hangs over the door, depicting the twin moons of Oerth (for which the inn is named). Three stories tall, the inn offers eighteen single rooms with lavish accomodations.
Constructed much like a Viking mead hall or feasting hall, this building is a popular sight for adventures and warriors of all kinds. It is usually busy, but especially so during festivals. Those who crave battle and adventure convene here to drink, share stories of glorious battle, drink, engage in sport and games of martial prowess or brute strength, as well as drink. It is not uncommon for visitors of the hall to sleep there, whether it be in lieu of staying at an inn or simply from passing out drunk.
Captain of Borneven's town guard, Bren Toller (Male LG human Ftr6) is middle-aged, serious, taciturn man. A career soldier, he was assigned to his current position shortly after the Greyhawk Wars. He has had several dealings with the player characters thus far and so far seems to view them positively.
Cousin to Semag, Epat (Male CN human War3/Bbn1) is a large, burly man in his mid-twenties. A member of the Oediv clan, he and the remnants of his family are now scattered throughout the countryside after their lands in the Flinty Hills were taken by a large tribe of hobgoblins and gnolls. Many lives were lost and, though it may take years to reassemble those remaining, as well as allies to aid them in the task, he and his father, Aremac, are determined to take back their lands. Epat met up with the amnesiac Semag in Borneven and informed him of the fate of their clan and his father's plan. As members of the clan are found, they will assemble in Womtham at the Hall of Glory, awaiting such a time that their numbers are sufficient to accomplish their goals.
Uncle to Semag, his father's brother, Aremac (Male N human Bbn4/Ftr3) is now the head of the Oediv clan. His brother, Cedoc (Semag's father), once the clan's leader, was killed during the hobgoblin attacks. After a series of battles, the clan and their allies were routed. The casualties were heavy and there were less than a dozen remaining with the group that Aremac led to safety. They have since split up to search for other survivors and allies to aid them in retaking their lands.
Melk (Male human Com3/War1) is a farmer who owns land in a small farming community near the Gamboge forest. He and his two sons, Tob and Alip run the farm, while his wife, Brynn and daughter, Fera see to the household. The party first met the family while heading into the Gamboge to seek out the brigands who called themselves the Viper's Fangs. Tob and Alip were wounded by bandits who attempted a raid on the farming community, an attack that Melk, his sons and a few of the other farmers were able to repel. Nicholette healed the boys and the family was grateful and indebted to them, offering them all the hospitality they could. They may or may not ever be seen or heard from again...
Falroth (N male Exp4) is a man in his mid-forties, who once served as a valet to the Solvang family. While many of the serfs were retained by Governer Younard of the newly-made Almorian Protectorate and Duke Korenflass of the Duchy of Korenflass (between which the Barony of Rapuista was split), Falroth was not. Many of the servants who worked closely with the former Baron and the Solvang family found themselves without home or employment. Falroth traveled with Carrick, a loyal man-at-arms and retainer to the Solvang family, each of them lacking family, land and influence. They both had the good fortune to run into Amavar while in Rel Mord and have followed him since, under his employ.
Carrick (Human male Ftr3) was a loyal and skilled soldier in service of the Solvang family. His father, Rourick was the general of the Baron Solvang's army and a friend. Thus, Carrick grew up alongside Amavar and was his companion, assigned to stand by his side as his protector, servant and friend. He was separated from Amavar for a time while his master apprenticed in wizardry and Carrick was taught soldiery. He finished his studies prior to Amavar and returned to his side for several years. Just prior to the rebellion, Carrick was recalled by his father to assist in the defense of their lands. Amavar remained to complete his studies. It was only years later that Amavar found Carrick and Falroth once more. In the interim, Carrick had been doing what meager amount of mercenary work he could and he and Falroth had been working to support themselves. Pleased to be reunited with his lord, Carrick eagerly began to follow Amavar again. His hope is that one day his master will restore the Solvang house to favor and they will find the position they once held.
