                                                 The Races of Glassrealm

Like I stated before My world is unique as in while there are the same races as in the other game worlds. They all have some kind of twist which makes them unique to my setting. The most important thing that one has to remember that in my game monsters and people who might be evil in one game setting might not be evil in mine, I may also keep the alighnment but make a dfifferent history or creation story that makes it again unique to my world.

Ogres for example are considered fodder and evil in many game setting but in mine ogres can not just be played as pc but also there are some that are neutral in the game. As you learn more about my world things will be explained better and have good reasoning behind the alignment shifts or the changing of the creatures and races in the game. One thing to remember is that there is no half races, this is because of the aancient drack has done to the races at a genetic level to them. The exception to he rules is the magical race can produce half races, like half dragons. There is some half races that were made which took powerful magic to produce them. Such as the half ogres which was created but some unknown necromancer. There was a attempt to create half elves and half orcs but still not able to.

The languages for he elves unless other wise stated - Elvish, Faey and common


                                                                        The Elves

Elves - The Elves in the world are not the happy go lucky people who like prance around in the forest and hug trees. In my world there are some that are complete bastards and even other will kill a human if they have chance. The history of the elven race on the world of Threa goes back to thousands and thousand of years ago before written history. They were once a great race who were proud and had a love for all things. But that is gone. The Elves history starts in not the material plane but the Land of the Fey. In the land of the fey Tir Na Nog or Arcadia buy some started a war for reasons that are not understood. what ever the reason the war in the land of the fey lasted for thousand and thousand of year until there was a truse. it came upon that the Fey will split in to the winter Court and they call themselves the Unseelie fey and the summer court which they call themselves the Seelie fey. Then what to do with the Elves or what they call the tal elves was expulsion from the realm for all eternity. They found the world of Threa to there liking and sent them there.

( Special: Unless other wise stated all the elves have the same trait as the rest of there race, the exception is the shadowelves)

After thousand of years on the material plane and being stripped of there powers they lost there immotality and things that made them just not powerful but what they believed what made them a special race sepperate from all the others. They slowly lost many of there powers and now today they actually have to sleep like all the other lower races on Threa. The Elves which were also known as High elves started to split into factions with there opposing house. which today we no as the different type of elves.

High Elves - They are the only ones more likely to get along with the humans and are the most likey to join on the side of other races to defend the others. They want to show that elvish race is not all that hatred and vengeful. They asimilited to the culture on the prime material plane. High elf culture is very Aristrocratic and High elf cities are a sight to behold. They are skilled in the military arts but will always seek a peaceful end if they are able to. They also are some of the biggest hater of chaos and built many tactics to fighting the creatures from the farrealm. The High elves is from which all elven stock have come from. The High elves do have a small Kingdom just south of Ascaria and east of Lyon and Lupanal for which they trade and are allies with. The High elves worship the Kelsarian gods a few worship Dios. Favored class is noble and they use the standard elf from the core book.

Grey Elves - The grey elves are the twist to the elves, They hate humanity for evenything they are and even hate the High elves calling them Human lovers and will not have nothing to do with them. The are brutil and have been known to hunt down humans who have strade to close to there borders and leave the corpses hanging from tres with the guts hanging out. They take ther culture very strongly and are very honor bound to there family and traditions. They stopped worshipping the Kelsarian gods believing that they are human gods and went to the worship of a a single god that goes buy the name of Kaine which represent everything they believe in. They are a dark brood but have a love of nature and will do there best to take care of there natural resources and will build there cities with the forest as there guide. They hate technology to a point and will not use muskets, canons, bombards and other things of tech. They are still onof the few who still use archers and more primitive seige weapons such as ballistas, catapults andmany other seige works. what makes them able to be used now is there use of thwe arcane and divine forces in the battle field. They are poweful in arcane magic and will enhance there seige weapons to great effect. Favored class is Fighter use the standard elf with the change here, they get weapon familiarity to longbows, scimitars, curved swords and hand axes. add a +1 to dex and a - 1 to con and change low light vision to Infravison.

Wood Elves - The wood elves a barabric elven race who live in the deep forest and hills of the outer parts of the west. Some are quit peaceful and others have been known as cannibles. There villages are usually simple but elegant with tradition elven construction. There are some that live in tree houses to other that live on the ground in simple huts. They are a brutil bunch and do not tolerate weakness. while some are very militaristic other tribes are not as so. The ones who are real savage and cannablistic are known as Grugach. They worship the Kelsarin gods, while a few in the grey elf kingdom worship the alien god Kaine. They are very honor bound and see cultural traditions important to the life and society as a whole. There are some change to the Wood elf. Favored class is Barbarian or Ranger +2 Str +2 Dex and -1Int -2 Cha  weapon familiarity is hand axe, longbow, short bow, shortsword, and club the rest is the same as elf core book.

Sylvan Elves - The Sylvan Elves are a culture of elves who has the love of nature and culture of the wood elves and the Aristrocrtic life style of a High elf. The are a noble lot but they see that they must presurve there wood elf culture but learn and take technology and magic and use it to defend themselves and there allies. Next to the High elves they are also very friendly to the Humans and other races. Some are not so but most do. They also worship the Kelsarian Pantheon of gods. They also have perfect some of the human technology in there own tactics and also have a hatred for the chaos gods and there minions. They do use magic and aere known as some of the most powerful magic user in the world. out of all the elves they are the ones who actually like wetre they are at and have no desire to go back to Tir Na Nog. Favored Class is Noble or Ranger All the core rules from the main book except change to +2 str +2 wis -3 con +2 Int Weapon Familiartiy Longsword Longbow shortsword shortbow.

Shadow Elf finishing her battle with a high Elf

Shadow Elf - Shadow elves are a ancient people who can trace there heritage to the Elven Empires. During the last days of the great elvish empire. When the humans were over running the empire defences and instead of helping the High Elf House they left to the plane of shadow. There they waited for 10s of thousands of years in the plane to wait for revenge. But not on the humans but on the Elves. They actually do not blame the Humans and there allies in attacking the Elves and they actually understand. They wanted peace and wanted to to have a understanding with the Humans. But the elves wanted to destroy the humans and conquer there empire. But they ended up in a destruction on both sides. Will while in the plane and after generations of living in the plane they became one with the plane to the point when they came back to the prim material plane they were shades, elves infuse with shadow stuff. They are now a new elven race known as the shadow elves and quit powerful. They live in a secret valley hidden in the Worlds Edge Mountains, using powerful magic to hids and defend there hidden sanctury. The Shadow elves will be adding 1D4 xs 50 to there maxed age, every thing is is the same as regular elves. as per chart on the core book.

There abilities:                                                                                                                                                                        As creatures of the Planes of shadow they are considered to be outsiders. They must be non good. All Shadow elves have the following powers when within shadows or darkness. In well -lit surroundings (daylight or radius of a daylight) none of these powers function.

Ability Scores: +2 Con +2 Cha

Speed 40ft

Armor Class: +4 Deflection Bonus

Attack and Damage: +2 competence bonus to all attacks and damage.

Saves: +4 Luck Bonus to all saves

Skills The character gains a +4 racial bonus on Listen and spot checks, and a +8 racial bonus on hide and move silenty checks. He does not suffer skill checks penalties due to darkness.

Control LIght: Supernatural Ability/ The Shadow elf can decrease the levels of the light within a 100ft radius by a factor of 10% per level. For characters and creatures dependent on light to see, thisdecreases the effective range of vision for them by the same percantage. For each 25% decrease in light anyone within the area gains a + 1 Circumstance bonus to HIde.

Fast Healing 2

Invisibility: Supernatural Ability/ The shadow elf can use the ability once per roundn as a sorcerer of the shadow elves lvl.

Shadowsight: Supernatural Ability/ The Shadow elf has 60ft Darkvision and also can see normally through any darkness effectsbut not through invisibility, obscurements and so on.

ShadowImage: Supernatural Ability/ 3 Xs/day, the shadow elf can use this as a spell like ability (similiar to the mirror Image spell) as a sorcererof his level. This creates 1D4 Figments of the shadow elf at +1 per 3 levels

Shadowstride: Supernatural Ability/ As often as once every 2 rounds, a shadow elf of 8th lvl or higher can vanish from his current location and reappear in any shadowy area within 300ft. This is a move equivalent action.

Shadow Travel: Supernatural Ability/ If the Shadow elf is 12th level of higher, then the elf can use Deminsional door to reach shadowy locale on the same plain and cast as a sorcerer of equal level of the character (must be within range). The elf can also at the same level and as a sorcerer of equal level can Planeshift to access the Plane of Shadows. This can only be done once per day.

Spell Res: 11 + character level

Favored Class: Wizard

A Dark Elf Princes

Dark Elves:

Special Note: The Dark Elves has always been a favorite of mine, but threw out the years it just became the same old thing. Big bad worshippers of lolth and that got old after a while. I wanted something different I wanted somethig unique and special. So I came up with this and I like these dark elves alot better.

The Dark elves has a long history on the world of Threa, They came here because of the war in the land of Fey and that they were originally High elves. But after there expulsion from the land of Fey they grew mean and cold. They never participated in the war they wanted nothing but peace. But they like the rest of the tall elves was kicked out and sent to Threa like the rest. That they resent, Not at the Fey but at the other elves for doing there war to control Tir NA Nog.  Will they travel around for years trying to find a place to live a life of seclusion away from the rest of the elves. There they just sat and steamed there hatred, until one day a man came to them and offered something to get revenge on them they laughed he got angry and he just waved a hand and a third was killed. They were stunned buy the power but also the power that they wanted, he stated again he can offer them the power if they need to get revenge on the Elves for what they did and they ask who he was and he said your god Loki and your my Harbinger. So they then bowed to there god and he told them they must travel to placers to hide, build and gain power tell he calls one day for there time to get the revenge they want. So they went to the places he stated. The more engineering Elves of House Makliff went to the Land of Eternal Night and work on making the best and highly advanced warmachines out there. The members of House Carlia went to the underdark and found a city near a opening to a inland sea. There they will become a powerful trading coster running business guilds all across the Northern Territories. The more warrior like went to the underdark and travel to what is now called Bloodvale and they are masters weapon and armor smiths there they learned powerful magic to enhance there fighting skills in the cold northern region of the worlds edge mountains and the the periphery. The last; House Valdaglerion; did not trust Loki and left the west all together and travel to a strange land were they do not even have a religion leaving the Kelsarin gods because they did not offer help during there expulsion and they also did not trust loki. So they are no atheist but just want to relie on themselvs, they believe in gods they just believe that the gods have some kind of agenda and that it can come back to hurt them in the future. There holy men and women are Mystics channeling divine energy from within and the study of the mind were they have become master of Psionics. Very few within there has study arcane magic but some do. There was also a physical change to all of the houses Loki cast a powerful magic to mark them as his, even the ones from house Valdaglerion and with there hatred and anger they turn a black color and found they had powers that no other elf had such as spell resistence.

House Makliff: This house who has establish themselves in the southern land called the Land of Eternal Night is like on big proving ground of unspent bombs and explosives, and a weapons testing areas. People who travel should always be searching for dangerous unexploded rounds, testing weapons and warmachines, and the guards do not take kindly to people who treasspass into the Dark elf Territories. The safest places is there cities were which there is smoke stacks of bealching smoke plumes, hammering, grinding and all the sounds of a very indutrious society.

They get the following added to character creation:

+ 2 to Profession engineering and knowledge Engineering

Weapon Familiarty: All hammers and the ability to not lose the attack bonus when using improvise weapons with tools at hand.

Favored Class is Wizard, Artificier

Prestige Class: Engineer

 

House Carlia: House Carlia is all about business and how to use warrior skills and battle tactics in there business model. They see that running and competing against each other and others outside there society is just a different battle not with sword and musket but with money and there mind. There society is all about business and to attain money for power. They live for the profit and they have a love for the art of the haggle. There only compitention is the halflings who they see as getting into there coffers. Murder, assassination, theft, and so on are but part of doing business. They have a unwritten law that if they they commit a crime like stealing. murder, theft, etc from another business it is seen as a part of doing business. If they get cot then that is a badly run business and the person who did the crime is exacuted. They also are light on laws and allow drugs, prostitution, gambling and so on. They love there pleasure and the monarchy turns a blind eye to petty crimes. While this must sound chaotic it is not and everything is fine tooned like oil on a cog. Every one does there day to day work and goes home for some entertainment and rest for the next day. They work long hours sometimes working 12 to 14 hours in a day.

Favored class: Noble

House Blood: House Blood is a warrior house that spend there time training to fight wars. They are strong in mind and body. They live for the battle and even have a alliance with the nothlanders so they may go on there raids to fight. SInce they live in the worlds edge mountains they also tavel alot in the northern chaos waste and hunt down creatures of chaos. Hunting for sport is a past time and hunting dire bears and dire stags with just a knife is part of life and a way to show proof of being a true warrior. They live for battle and the warrior way of life. They allow both men and women as warriors and both are seen as equals in there search for purfection in tactics and the body. They like to say thay the sword will not fail you but you will fail the sword if you do not fight the best you can and give your enemis there respect they deserve.

They start with martial weapon for free and light armor pro for free

Favored class: Fighter

House Valdalerion: This house is one house that left the gods all together and feel that they have just been used buy them and saw no love from them. They left the elven and dark elven society and traveled to a far off land that was not even found buy the rest of the west for thousands of year, the west had found the new world just under 10 years ago. They believe in the divinty of self and the power of the mind. That one must believe in oneself and he controls his own destiny. There holy people are Mystics ( Mystic character class found on the Dragonlance core rule book page 47 + 50) and they are masters of the mind. There warriors are Psychic warriors and others study Pure psionics. There are are some that do study the arcane arts but that is few. They live in a hidden valley in the new world and live a Neutral society who try to stay out of the politics of the world. Since the founding of the new world they have been worring about a confrontation that is to there belief going to be real bad. While the rest of the dark elf societies is evil they are not and try to stay neutral and not partake in the worlds politics.

Favored class: Psionicist


Dark Elf Racial abilities:

+2 Dex, +2 Cha, -2 Con

Medium Size

Speed: 30ft

Sight: Darkvision 120ft

Dark Elf Immunities: All dark elfs are immune to magic sleep effects and get a racial bonus to saves against enchantments spells.

Keen Senses: Dark elves recieve +2 racial bonus on Perception checks.

Spell resistance: Dark elves possess spell resistance equal to 6 plus their class level.

Spell-like Ablities: A dark elf can cast dancing lights, darkness and fearie fire each once per day, using his total character level as his caster level.

Poison use: all dark elves are skilled in poison making and never risk accidentally poisoning themselves. Dark elves favor an insidiou toxin that causes its victims to lapse into unconsciousness. this poison allows dark elves to captur slaves with great ease. Special poison - Injury; save Fortitude Save DC 13 Frequency 1/minute for 2 minutes; Initial effect unconsciousness for 1 minute; secondary effect unconciousness for 2D4 hours; Cure 1 successful save.

Weapons Familiarity: Hand crossbow, Rapier, Shortsword

Languages: Undercommon, Dark elf, and common

Favored Class: See House

 

Dark Elf Noble:

They have all the traits as the above with the change here

+4 Dex, +2 Int, +2 Wis, +2 Cha, -2 Con

Spell Resistance: 11 + character level

Spell Like Abilities: Dancing lights, deeper darkness, faerie fire, feather fall, Levitate, each at will , and have detect magicas a cionstant spell-like ability. A Dark Elf can also cast Divine favor, Dispel magic, and suggestion once per day each The caster level is cast at equal to her level.

Favored class: See House


The Jungle Elves:

The jungles Elves are different in the since that while they are barbaric they are not like the wood elves.

Will lets first start from the beginning. During the Last days of the Elven Empire a large group of High elves decided to leave to a place were they can not see what technology and high magic can do to the world. They saw alot of things that was just wrong in all since of the word. The decided to forsake Arcane magic and just allow Divine, they forsaked technology with the exception of the easiest of weapons and tools. Only Arcane practice they allowed was the crafting of potion and similiar practices (special note - alchemy has not been discovered yet) Then they traveled to the Jungles of Lind, with another group that took the long journey to Kush were they may live in realitive peace. It will be hard but they did not want anything to do with the rest of the world. Today thousands of years later the children seek to see the wonders of the world beyond the jungles and it is hard to hold them back.

Racial Abilities:

They have all the same elven traits but the exception as follows

+2 Int -2 Cha

Racial Weapons - Hand Axe, Spear, Long Spear, Club, Warclub

Star Elves:

The Star elves are a ancient elven race that are not from the land of the fey nor from this world. Hidden somewhere in the worlds edge mountains is an ancient secret long forgotten save a few learned peoples that there is a ancient race of elves not kin to the elves of Glassrealm. They come from a Demi plane called Sildeyuir which there is a gate/portal coming from there plane to Threa. Sometimes refured to as Mithril Elves in some ancient text. They were never part of the Elvish Empires nor interact with the world as a whole. They like to stay quit and stay out of the politics of the world. As time went on they have noticed that they will one day have to step out of the shadows to aid the other races and fight. Some have at this point hidden out into the wilds of the world and finding allies, finding the hidden dangers of the world, finding ancient artifacts, and exploring the world. Only a few have been doing this and they like to stay low when traveling.

Personality: They are cautious and aloof, and keeping a emotional distance from events untill they feel it is best to interact and do something. They can judgemental, although they take their time and considers many factors before passing judgement on a creature or action. They tend to think logicaly and are very smart. Once won, a star elves friendship (and enmity) is deep and longlasting. Star elves love beauty and art and have a knack in seeing the inner beauty on all people. They love song, dance, and love working magic. But away from home they are slow to bestow there gift of voice and artistry.

Star Elves have a Lawful good Society, and speak Elvish and common.

Elven traits and abilities

Low light vison

Otherwordly Touch: Supernatural/ Between Sunset and Sunrise a Star Elf Confers the Ghost touch ability on any melee weapon she wields and any armor she wares, but only so long as she keeps in hand or wear the armor. Star elves have A magical affinity for starlight that gives them anunusual edge in fighting extradimensional foes.

Extraplanar: Supernatural/ Star Elve are not outsiders, but they are natives of Threa. Spells and effects that target extraplanar creatures affest star eloves. Banishment, dissmissal, and similiar effects that banish outsiders return a star elf to Sildeyuir.

+2 racial bonus on listen, Search, and spot checks. A star elf who merely passes within 5 ft of a secret or concealed door is intitled to a search check to notice it as if she were actively looking for the door.

Star Elves Have no racial weapon Pros

Favored Class: Bard

The Einherjar Elves

During the last days of the elvish Empire a group of elves who were heading out of the empire got stopped buy a large muscular man with a hammer they put up there difference but instead of being attacked he told them they can be saved if they trravel to the northern lands. There he told them they will live in harmony and one day there will be humans who will come there and that they will be friends with them. They looked strange and at awe. He also state they there gods did not help them nor did they try to stop  the destruction of there great kingdom. He stated that there will not be any more great elven kingdoms there is going to be great elves and that there going to be needed one day. " Who are you" they ask and he looked up to the sky and a swing of his odd warhammer a lighting bolt struck down and then he waved his hands healed the sick and wounded. He said that "while your gods have left you I have never left your side and made sure the safety of you today". Then they new they were in front of a god and they bowed. They new that he had some great importance that he had in store for them. They ask "what do you want from us" And he said train for for war" They looked at him with a truly odd face. He said one day the peoples of the world is going to need the might and the stregnth of the elves and that while the greatness of the elven empires are gone there need is still here" He then told them secrets of the future and many other secrets that many are not meant to now, and then they said yes He then said will you travel to the northern lands to the border of the periphery. After many generations they trained for some great battle that was going to be fought. They trained humans and even dwarves who were sent up there to and when these humans and dwarves came together with the elves they are called the Einherjar and they are true warriors.

Today they worship the norse gods and barbarian is there favored class with Berserk as there favored prestige class (Berserk can be found in the Dieties and Demi gods page 201)

Racial traits and abilties:

All eleven traits and powers from the core book but with this change.

+2 str - 2 Dex

Weapon Familiarty - Composite Long bow, Composite shortbow, Longbow, Longsword, Battle Axe, Hand Axe


Cold Res 5

Valley Elves

The Valley Elves are something different from the rest of the elves, with the exception of the dark elves and the shadowelves the rest of the elven race hates them. The valley elves live in a small valley just easy of the worlds edge mountains somewere in the great southern wildernes. They live there because they felt that they needed the protection and so made a packed with a powerful half fiend wizard who allows them to live in his valley if they protect his valley from all intrusion. The Valley elves were once a clan from the grey elf kingdom and after a bitter civil war were there clan; clan Ravenheart; was at the losing end. They fled into the great northern wilderness. Where they met the wizard of the valley and made a deal with him if he protect him he will do the same for them. So they learned to fight in the valley and are some of the best elven trackers known. Very few ever leave the valley, some will leave, doing missions for the Wizard the others is to travel out of a wonderlust were they will come home to serve the mage.

They left the practice of wizardry behind but the arcane casters that do happen are Sorcerers. They went to the worship of the animal lords and have totems from the discplacer beast to wolves and griffins. They do have a hatred of the chaos and there master allows it because he fears chaos.

Racial abilities:

They have all the same abilites as a standar elf with the differnce here.

+3 Str +2 Dex -2 Int -3 Wis

Weapon Familiarty: Spear, Longbow, Longsword, Hand claws, flax

Favored Class: Scout or Ranger

Snow Elves:

The Snow elves are the Eskimos of this world they live in the periphery and travel buy sleds and dog sleds. They are a religous race and worship alien gods known as the elemental lords and a goddess known as Auril. They wear thick skin clothing  and furs and have a hardiness that most cannot even come close to. They are strong and have good endurance. They live in igloos (homes made from snow) to whale hide tents. They tend to eat lots of meat unlike there brothers in the south who eat lots of vegies. The Elves eat Whale, bear, stag, deer and many of its dire version. There are some that live in the southern reachs of the periphery that heard elk and reindeer for food. They are a hardy bunch but take things seriesly but do love having fun and spending time with the family.  Family god clan/tribe  is the most inportant, usually in that order.

Same as the Elves from the Core Book, Except as follows:

+2 Str, +2 Con, -2 Int, -2 Wis

+2 to Survival

+2 to Search and Spot

Weapon Familiarity: Harpoon, Spear, Dagger, Hand Axe, Battle Axe

Aquatic Elves:

The Aquatic Elves are a set of elves who have a long history, they were said that once they were high elves and that they had a glories history. But when the drack captured many of the high elves and expiramented on them, they were the resault. The sea elves were said that they were created buy the Drack for some kind of sea war, but that is spiculation. While the Aquatic elves are elves it can be said they do not get along with the rest of the elven race, but that also depends upon city to city. Aquatic Elves are a fical bunch and they choose there enemies and allies. Some live in the ocean and seas of the world and some live in the lakes and rivers of the world. The aquatic elves worship several gods which most are moon, sea, water, gods from many different pantheons with many hero gods depending from city to city. They are a proud lot and some can say they are hot blooded and passionate about there beliefs and in everything they do, a trait that is not found in most other elves. They are considered barbaric and uncivilized buy the other elves. While in the water aquatic elves wear very little clothing and there blue skin is a big give away so they like to disguise themselves while on the surfface world.

Racial traits and abilities:

They have all the same traits as a standard elf from the core rule book, but with the following changes.

Breathe water: Extraordinary/

Weapon Familitary: Trident, Longspear, exotic weapon pro net.

Seasence: + 2 racial bonus on checks to notice peculiarities about the water they are in, such as pollutants, diseases, approximate depth, temperature, pressure, and so on.

+2 Str, +2 Dex, -2 Cha

Darkvision 60ft

Spell Like Abilities: If a aquatice elf has a Int scor of 10 or higher they have the following spell like abilities - 1/day blur, Dancing lights, Darkness, and obscuring mist. These abilities are cast as if a wizard of equal level (DC 10 save + Int Mod)

Alternate form: Supernatural/ The Aqutic elf may assume the physical qualities of a porpoise and a sea otter, can be done 3/day. The Aquatic elf will not regain HP when changing forms but other wise similiar to polymorph spell cast buy a wizard of the characters level. The ability can only be done in the water and cannot be used on the surface world or land.

Surface Sensitivity: Estraordinary/ Aquatic elves suffer a -1 circumstance bonus to all rolls such as attacks, skills, saves etc. This happens when the Elf happens to be out of water more then 24 hours. To mitigate the minus then they will have to have some kind of magical item or be in water for a hour a day. This minus is not commulitive.

Languages: Elvish, Aquatic elf, Common many nows aquan

Favored class: Fighter

                                                         The Dwarves

Moutain Dwarf:

The mountain dwarves are the stock to which all the dwarves with the Exception the Rune dwarves come from. They are one of the First four races that came from the gods on the planet of Threa. The dwarves are bred for one thing and that is to fight and to do battle. The Dwarves have a belief that the dwarves were created to teach the humans how to fight, in the preperation for Ragnorock. They are very honor bound and seek knoweldge in the stone to which they mine. They are some of the best Alchemist and engineers in the world and love the creation of warmachines to destroy there enemies espicially the Creatures of the world of chaos. They are proud people, and are very honorable. But there is also a side to them that are also obsessed with mining, making magical weapons, and creating machines to better there mining and logging operations, to warmachines that can kill and destroy very will. They have some of the most beautiful places to live and are seen as very awe inspiering artist especially in archeticture. The most impressive thing is that they are masters of magic and espcially the mysterious rune magic.

Mountain Dwarves use the standard stats from the Pathfinder Main Core book. The exception is the favored class which is Fighter, Alchemist

They tend to pick Engineer as there prestige class.

Hill dwarves


Hill Dwarves have left the mountains of the world to the open sky and stars. During the ages of Yore the Hill Dwarves were once Mountain Dwarves with the love of mining and the making of great weapons of magic. But then there was a great civil war in the halls of the great cities of the dwarves. In the end the war left the losers leaving forever and two clans left the halls one were they went to the south to the jungles of lind and the others went to several places in the world which was the mountains and hills of the world.

The Hill Dwarves have all the same traits as there other dwarves, but the change is as follows:

+2 Str, +2 Con, -2 Cha, -2 Wis

Since they have been out of there Moutains for thousands of generations they lost Stone cunning and everything that deals that.

They have earth cunning which is +2 to all spot, search and survival roles that deal with changes with there surroundings and tracking roles while in the outside non city areas of the world, mainly the forest and hills were they live. Will not work in the underdark/dungeons of the world. Special note: If they come in contact with other dwarves they may learn stone cunning but will take one year to learn.

Low Light Eyes 60ft

Favored Class: Ranger


Jungle Dwarves:

During the Civil war that nearly destroyed them they left while some of the clan left to the hills and woods of the world the main part of the clan left to the jungle of lind and latter some made a colony in the Kush. Either way they have adeptive to there enviroment and have abilities that are different then the standard dwarf. They have become quit savage and barbaric even getting there own language that has some bets left from the original dwarf. The only thing they have the same is there worship of the norse gods but here new pantheon has there hero gods with totems and a dragon totem.

Jungle Dwarves have all the dwarvenracial abilities with the exception below:

Small: +1 size bonus to attack rolls, and a +4 size bonus to hide checks.

Speed 20Ft

Weapon Familiarity: proficient with hand axe, blowgun. The hand axe blad is ususaly made of flint or stone.

Poison Use

Fire Resistance 5

+3 save to poisons

+4 save against all Disease

No stone cunning but Earth Cunning same as the Hill dwarves.

Favored Class - Barbarian



Einherjar Dwarf:

When the great civil war happened between the dwarves and the clans that make up the hill and jungle dwarf of today there was a small part from the clans that left the clan that will later come to be known as the hill dwarves. when traveling up north they met a towering man with a eye missing and two ravens fly around his head. He said with a towering voice that there skills as tru warrior of vallhalla ios going to be needed and they ask who he was and he laugh dont you no your god when he is here, then they looked again but then bowed in fear, awe and he stated to them that he will need there skills and that they are the true warriors that he hopes the will fight the giants at the end of time. They said what you ask of them. and he stated that they are to travel tot he furthest parts of the north but not the periphery and when the humans come they are to make a alliance with them and train them to fight and the way of the gods. They are to teach them about war, and tactics and trade in weapons of war. The they are to teach them the ancient form of magic int he runes, these men are the only ones that will be given the secrets of the runes. They did as they were told and now live in the mountain in small villages and in a dwarven hall in the south of the land of the norse. The norse honors them and have dwarves as adviosors espicially the Einherjar dwarves. These special dwarves are said to be touch buy odin one eye he who is the great leader of the warriors of ragnorrock.

+2 Str +2 Con  -3 Cha

Weapon Familiarzation: Longsword, Weapon Group Axes, battle Hammer. All Crossbows besides handcrossbows

Infravision - Can see at night with the ability to see heat. This can be turned on or off. Distance is 60ft.

Cold resistance 10

The rest is similiar to the Pathfinder Handbook, Just change where it is appropraite.

Favored Class: Fighter, Barbarian, Wizard

Rune Dwarves:

Runes Dwarves are a mysteries race a ancient race that is said to come from the Stars, at least that is the rumor. Only a few nows, The Thane is said to truely now.

(( Secret History: The Rune dwarves came to the planet Threa, Thousands of years ago when they flourist as a race and aided the native dwarves in learning magic. They were the ones that brought Runic magic to the dwarven race, including advance alchemical and engineering technigues. After two thousand years the dwarves had a devestatiing civil war which ended with a seperation in the race, and the rune dwarves leaving. During the Cataclysm the Rune dwarves came to the planet to see if the dwarves have grown from petty politics, when there ship was attacked from a fleet of orcs known as Scro. There ship crashed in a moutain chain were a group of heroes aided them and eventually bring them to a new Dwarven Kingdom. A New Thane was crowned and he was advised in aiding in bringing a new dwarven empire. But it is allot of work. But since they crashed here they and a sign from there gods they staid to aid and bring back the glory of the dwarves. There is some in the City of Dragonport hoping to get the humans in helping the dwarves. The rest is now building a new home in the ruins of the Great mountian. They are calling it RuneHolm were the best and the brightest dwarves will learn the lost rune magics, alchemy and new engineering inventions. It will, when done be the new home of the Thane, and his family.))

Rune Dwarves are known for the Glowing runic magic tattoos all over there body. The magical glowing tattoos are given as rewards , marks of feats, heroeism, rank, etc.

+4 Int +4 Wis

+4 racial bonus agaisnt all spells

Free Feat: Practice Spellcaster, as per the feat in Complete arcane Page 82, and Create Magic Tattoo.

They do have everything else from thge main book for dwarves.

Favored Class: Wizard, Alchemist.


                                                                 The   Halflings

The halflings as a race are one of the first races and but also a missunderstood race. They live in a large country called the shire. It is ruled by a coucil of elders from the riches Noble houses, families and merchant clans. The shire is a cool and quite place were the halflings work hard all day then go home to there families. Families and loyalty is important to them. This can be seen in everything they do including the more unlawful work some halflings do. The halfings as a race are a kind and oving people who love a good smoke and a nice sweet wine. They are master cooks and sell the best alcoholic drinks known top the world around. The halflings never do anything half ass there go into a project 100% and will when they start sometuing they will finish it no matter the consiquence. While this is halfling society as a whole it does not have to be every halfling nor does the players who make a halflings.The Halfings have a dark side to them. While they are the best merchants in the world and the shire is the riches int he world they also hold the most feared and powerfullest crime syndicate in the world. It is known as the Black Dragon Cartel and they are feared from many. They control hundreds of Thieves guilds, assassin guilds and everyting in between. This result in other races thinking that since a halfing is a race of merchants then most races believe that all are member of the Cartel which is not true. Very few are. The founding members and the cartel is ran by halflings but they actually use many other races to do there work for them.

Note - I do not like the 3rd and 3.5 edition art of the halflings, which makes them look more like kenders from the dragonlance setting. I always loved the hobbit look which carried Paizos art for pathfinder. So my halflings look like hobbits except they are not as fat and jolly.

The halfings use the standard set up for there race in the Pathfinder Core rule book.
